DonorPrompt

Privacy policy

Effective date: November 4, 2026

What we store

DonorPrompt keeps the email addresses of the people who sign in, and the campaigns your organization sets up. When you import a campaign, we copy donor names, phone numbers and amounts from the spreadsheet you picked into our database, so we can prepare the messages.

How we use your Google data

If you connect a Google account, we ask for two things only: access to the spreadsheets you choose with Google Picker (the drive.file permission), and your Google account email, which we use to label the connection. We use that access only to read those spreadsheets and to update them, for example to write message statuses back into the spreadsheet. We cannot see any other file in your Google Drive.

The access tokens Google gives us are encrypted at rest.

Limited Use

DonorPrompt's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

We do not sell your data. We share it only with the members of your organization on DonorPrompt and with the messaging services needed to deliver the messages you send (for example WhatsApp and your mobile carrier). We do not use it for advertising. We do not use it to train AI models. People at DonorPrompt do not read your spreadsheet data, except where you ask us for support or where the law requires it.

Disconnecting and deleting

When you disconnect a Google account, we delete its stored token. If no other organization on DonorPrompt still uses that Google account, we also revoke DonorPrompt's access at Google. You can remove DonorPrompt's access at any time in your Google Account settings (Security → Third-party access). We keep campaign and donor data until your organization deletes it or asks us to delete it. To have your data deleted, including donors copied from your spreadsheets, write to the address below and we will delete it.
